Wetlands Discs Ten bronze discs portraying native wildlife are embedded
along the 2.5 mile path that covers Eugene's Meadowlake Prairie, a 400-acre
wetland. The prairie is the latest portion to be added to the 2,500-acre
West Eugene Wetlands area, a nature preserve acquired
over ten years by the city of Eugene, the U.S. Bureau of Land Management,
the Nature Conservancy, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S.
Fish and Wildlife Service.
